The American International School of Lomé (AISL), established in 1967, is a private, non-profit, college preparatory day school offering an educational program to students of all nationalities from Nursery (age 2) through Grade 12.  The School is fully accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools through Grade 12.

Over the past two years, AISL has been working to prepare for reaccreditation with the Middle States Association (MSA). After many months of writing and preparation on the part of the school, the visiting team arrived here in April 2016, coming from schools in Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Ghana.
